Discovery at Melrose is learning about the 5P’s. People, Places and Processes of the Past and Present. Discovery is a broad subject which gives students from Foundation to year 6 an opportunity to explore many different areas of the Victorian Curriculum. These areas include; geography, history, science, the arts, civics and citizenship, culture, environmental sustainability and digital technology.
Through Discovery, we encourage students at Melrose to see themselves as explorers, scientists, historians, researchers, creators and thinkers who actively contribute to the community, care for the environment and respect different cultures and beliefs.
